I paint old friends and sew new friends. My favorite artworks forge personal connections with viewers, so I try to create objects that spark that feeling of kinship. Whether an intimate portrait of someone I know very well, or a sewn creature that calls for inspection or a cuddle, I strive to make my art come to life.
I am based in Brooklyn, NY. Read an interview here. Instagram: @davidjandersson |
